Please see below Government Guidance for Parents regarding Relationships, Sex and Health Education.
Our Relationships, Sex and Health Education programme at Fairfields follows a progressive journey tailored to our pupils needs as outlined below. To view our RSE policy, please click on the link below.
KEEPING CHLDREN SAFE
We take our children’s wellbeing very seriously at Fairfields and we aim to equip them with the tools that they will need as they grow and change to keep themselves safe and happy. All of our children are taught the PANTS rule to help them understand that their body belongs to them, and they should tell someone they trust if anything makes them feel upset or worried.
Please see the NSPCC website below to learn about the PANTS rule and to help you start the conversation with your child.
There are also other helpful tips and advice on how to help keep your child safe, advice on children's mental health and staying safe online. There is support for parents and what to do if you are worried about a child.
